- Classification data, such as trauma, cardiac, or stroke alerts.
c. Device & Usage Data
- IP address, device type, operating system, and app usage patterns.
- Location data via GPS, used to track EMS units in real time.
d. Media Uploads
- Securely transmitted and encrypted media, including photos and documents, shared via the app by authorized clinical users.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Enable real-time patient reporting and communication between EMS and hospital personnel.
- Track ambulance location and estimated arrival times.
- Deliver push notifications.
- Improve clinical efficiency by generating automated summaries based on complaints.
- Ensure security, performance, and compliance with medical data regulations.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share information with trusted service providers as needed to operate our services:
- HERE Technologies: Real-time GPS tracking.
- OneSignal: Push notification delivery.
- OpenAI: Complaint data is used to generate clinical summaries. No identifiable personal data is included.
- WordPress: Marketing website hosting and analytics.
These providers are contractually required to safeguard your information and may not use it for any purpose beyond what is required for our services.
4. Data Security
We are committed to protecting your information using industry-standard safeguards, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission.
- Storage of patient data in encrypted format within a secure MySQL database.
- Access controls and audit logs for all clinical interactions.
We aim to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and protect Protected Health Information (PHI) accordingly.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Users may request deletion of their account and most associated data.
- Some data, including audit logs and patient records, may be retained as required by law or internal compliance protocols.

StatComm is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.
